Make a Change Today

The need for change

Today is your second chance for change. How will you use it? Often when we think of making a change, we wait for a new week or new year. Each year boasts 365 chances left for a fresh start. Make a change today.

How many times have you said, I’ll start tomorrow!
How many times did you make it past the next day?

If you haven’t already made the change and stuck to it, then you need structure and planning.

It really is that simple. Have you ever heard the saying, if you fail to plan then you are planning to fail? It’s a truth, you can apply to your whole life. One little aspect can be the difference between success and failure.

Plan

Design and plan for your future, don’t just say I’m going to enjoy life, or stress less or avoid doing certain things. Instead of just saying I’m gonna enjoy life, say I will count my blessing in life and be grateful for the achievements of each day.

Write it down and stick to it. Think about the things you love, then try to plan activities that will lead you to live your best life.

A bad choice or decision in life doesn’t mean you’re a failure. However, a badly planned goal is bound to leave you feeling like a failure, making you less likely to want to make any changes in the future because you associate dieting with failure.

It just takes the first step to make a change. Whether you’ve decided to be financially independent, get that dream house, launch your product, start a business or just get fit this year.

You deserve guidance and support every step of the way.

7 things you can change today

Start journaling

Journaling helps you express your innermost feelings. It is a journey book that you can look back on at how far you have come from where you used to be.

5-year plan

Write down your goals for the next 5 years. Have your short term and long term goals clearly identified. You are more prone to achieve your goals when they are written down. It also makes it easier to track your progress.

Replace an old habit with a new one

Habits are hard to break. However, when you have a new good habit to focus on you will not have the energy to give in to the old ones.

Find your purpose

You were born for bigger things in life. What brings you joy? What sparks your fire in life?

Find out if you don’t already know and do that. Discover your passions and live a fulfilling life.

Start a new hobby

Hobbies are great for exploring things that we are passionate about. They are also a fun release for stresses and daily challenges. Therefore, it’s important to find a hobby you enjoy.

Celebrate the small things

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

― Lao Tzu

In other words, life is a sum of the little things that add up to the bigger picture of our lives. Don’t be shy to celebrate the small wins as they will keep you motivated.

Year after year it’s the same life lacking fulfilment and purpose. It’s time to take on a more advanced and intentional approach with more accountability to help you get to the next level.

Live healthier

Adopt healthier lifestyles choices. Eat well and exercise. Give your body the best chance of being at it’s best, so you can be at your best.

Set yourself up for success when going healthy. Have wholesome food and snacks readily available and plan your meals. Buy more fresh foods and drink plenty of water.

It will require a lot of commitment and discipline, but I promise the results will be worth it. Just imagine yourself, a few months from now at your best. Doing what you love and living life with purpose.

Like the seasons change, we too must change and grow for the better.

Love, Everyday
