30 Day Blogging Challenge

Who doesn’t like a good challenge? Hence I took on the 30-Day blogging challenge.

Blogging is still new to me and I’m learning every day. I was in a rut for so long, i.e. mental blocks; lack of inspiration and not knowing where to start.

I was going through information overload and overwhelm because there is so much information and blogs about blogging that it just left me at a loss for words.

Why blog

Initially, I knew what I wanted and what I needed to get there. However, when I started researching the blogging world, I felt like I knew nothing. Never the less, here I am 10 days into the blogging challenge that has revived my passion for blogging and gave me a new-found love for what I can offer to others.

Fear and self doubt often held me back. This challenge has helped me take the first steps to achieve my goals and do what I love; helping people live a better life. We often think of a challenge as a wall or ceiling between where we are and where we want to go.

However, challenges are there to show us that we have more to give, more potential, more knowledge, more wisdom and the power to grow beyond what we could ever imagine.

“A task or situation that tests someone’s abilities.”

The Oxford English Dictionary

Challenges seem scary at first because they force us to change how we think and perceive things and circumstances. Change can be scary and hard, however very much necessary if we want to be better and progress in life. Think of the butterfly going through a metamorphosis, the change is vital because it would shrivel and die without it.

Taking stock

It is important to realize where we are in life and review our lives and take a deep introspection of our purpose. Let us be honest with ourselves; are the things we do daily and the plans we have for our good to live a purposeful life? If not, change is needed.

Like the seasons’ change, so we must continually change (for the better) and allow our inner energy to radiate from within.

Be intentional about your life and make it your mission to accomplish your goals and see your vision come to life. However, don’t beat yourself up about past failure and missed opportunities. They were what you needed to help you see what works and doesn’t work.

Where you did not achieve in the past saved you time right now so that you don’t waste your energy and efforts because you know better and are stronger for it.

What matters is right now. What are you doing now to meet your dreams and achieve your goals?

Here are my top 7 posts from the blogging challenge so far. The process has helped me make changes in my life to live a better life.
